This year's edition will feature a subversive comedy from the Warsaw Film School, written by its director herself. The film tells the story of Rita, who is determined to finally experience her first orgasm before she turns twenty-five.

British viewers will watch our film on October 5 at 3:30 PM at Light Cinema Bolton Screen 3.

Earlier, however, „These Damn Peonies” will compete for awards in Poland at the Solanin Film Festiwal (screening: August 25, 11:15 AM, Nowosolski Dom Kultury) and in the Short Film Competition of the Gdynia Film Festival.

We hope that the intense search for pleasure led by Rita, the tireless heroine of our short, will win over viewers both in the country and abroad. We're keeping our fingers crossed!

Below you will find the logline and the list of the film crew of the short.
