Celebrating 20 years at the Brussels Short Film Festival!
At one of the most important short film festivals in Europe, a special screening of films from the Warsaw Film School will take place. The anniversary block, celebrating 20 years of the School's existence, will be presented as part of the "Focus Poland" program.
On the screens in Brussels, four exceptional short films — award-winning, beloved, and still a source of immense pride — will be showcased:
- Our Curse, directed by Tomasz Śliwiński – an Oscar-nominated short documentary
- The Dress, directed by Tadeusz Łysiak – an Oscar-nominated short fiction film
- Where the Birds Cry, directed by Jakub Wenda
- 7 Words About Passing Away, directed by Łukasz Iwanicz
The screening will take place on April 25 at 16:00, followed by a Q&A session with Artur Zaborski, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, and Szymon Jarząbek, the cinematographer of Where the Birds Cry.
