Looking back at 65th Kraków Film Festival

// 2025-06-02

From May 25th to May 31st 2025 we were at the 65th Kraków Film Festival. Three of our movies had their premiere there:

"Neverlandex", dir. Agata Kapuścińska

"Jump!", dir. Michał Cysewski

"Qaher", dir. Nada Khalifa

How did our creators enjoy their time in Kraków?

Day 1st:

The first day of the festival, and the very first screening, was opened by our two movies! Their premieres had "Neverlandex" by Agata Kapuścińska and "JUMP!" by Michał Cysewski. Both of them were warmly greeted by the wievers, adding interesting new topics, surprising pictures and extraordinary acting roles to the festival program.

The screening was opened by the director of the festival - Krzysztof Gierat. He greeted our creators, who were present in Kraków:

-> Agata Kapuścińska, Mateusz Gzel and Michał Pyszora - the director, cinematographer and editor of the movie "Neverlandex"

-> Kirył Pietruczuk - main actor in "Neverlandex"

-> Michał Cysewski, Szymon Ejdys and Monika Nienałtowska - the director, editor and production manager of the movie "JUMP!"

-> and of course the extraordinary heroes of the movie "JUMP!" - Magdalena, Irena and Agnieszka Miechówka.

Thank you to all the people who came to the screening and applauded our movies and their creators. Enjoy more photos from the screening at the bottom of the page!

It was not the end of our time in Krakow. Thanks to the full acreditation from the festival our creators had the opportunity to take part in many industry and artistic events. The crew of "Neverlandex" were also invited to talk with Tomasz Schimscheiner, who played a second main role in their movie, during an event "To play in shorts" - a special meeting focused on actors playing in short movies.

You can also read and listen about the movie "Neverlandex" in Polish media: in Wysokie Obcasy magazine and on Radio Kraków Kultura.

DAY 2nd:

On the second day of the festival the movie "Qaher" had its premiere. It is a moving story made by Nada Khalifa, a Palestinian director and a graduate from Warsaw Film School. Her diploma movie follows a jurney of a man who is coming back to occupied Palestine after being an expat for a long time.

The director Nada Khalifa and the cinematographer Oscar Lui took part in a Q&A session after the screening. Nada's family was also present at the premiere - thank you for your support at this important day!

Please enjoy more photos at the bottom of the screen.
